How Is Your Date Life

A relationship needs to spend at lease 30 minutes every day and a larger block of time every week (date night). Your date night evaluation will assist you to see how much time and the quality of time you spend together. There are several factors that play into how well that time is spent, frequency, variety, balance, intimacy, connection, sex, prep, time, events, and money. Test how you rate.

Question 1: Frequency
Frequency 2 or less times per month (hit and miss).
1 to 5 times per year (obligations: birthdays, anniversaries).
1 time per week (priority for the relationship).

Question 2: Variety
Variety Same thing - Different place (new restaurants, but same activity ex. eating out, or going to a movie).
Mixing it up (sometimes dinner, sometimes lunch, sometimes a movie, and sometimes dancing or a play).
Same-Same (same activities movies and same locations).

Question 3: Balance
Balance Both of you trade off meeting each other's needs.
Your dates meet only one person's needs.
Occasionally both getting needs met (however you have to make it all happen).

Question 4: Intimacy
Intimacy Sharing feelings, hurts, needs, and frustrations.
No sharing during your date.
Conversation centres around day to day activities for the family and your day.

Question 5: Connection
Connection Majority of the date is spent looking at each other and holding hands.
Minimum eye contact no physical contact
Sitting together or looking at each other, but not both.

Question 6: Sex
Sex Over half the time there is an opportunity to for sex before, during or after your date.
Over half the time there is no sexual activity before, during, or after your date.
Most the time being together culminates in an intimate occasion.

Question 7: Prep. time
Prep. time Anticipation and planning take place a day to a week ahead.
Plans are made maybe an hour ahead.
No planning (where do you want to go?).

Question 8: Time
Time 3 to 4 hours are spent together.
1 to 2 hours are spent together.
4 to 6 hours are spent together.

Question 9: Events
Events Three or more activities (drinks, dinner, and dancing).
One activity (dinner).
Two activities (dinner and window shopping).

Question 10: Money
Money Nice date $60 to $100 spent on all your events.
Moderate date $20 to $50 for the entire date.
Cheap date $10 to $20 for the event.
