It was Saturday July 10th, the day of my friend's birthday. I snatched my towels, birthday bag and goggles and my mom drove me to Stardust pool. It was 5:50 when I arrived, 10 mins early. It was Kayla's surprise birthday party, and when she walked through the gate around 6:00 everyone yelled, "Surprise!" When Kayla and her other friends were talking, I looked around the pool.
