So I had a dream last night that inspired me to write I Thought Wrong 4. PLEASE COMMENT (LOL it will only take you a minute)

    So if y'all (AKA anyone who reads this) have read the other three (or at least What Was I Thinking?) you know I don't want this crush any more. And I did not think anything would happen that would be worth mentioning, until I woke up this morning. July 27, 2020. (Hope I got the date right!) and remembered my dream...

    For some reason, my two older siblings and I were at Elijah's house. They were both off doing something, somewhere else. Elijah was in his room and he invited me in. I walked a couple steps closer.
    "We haven't talked for a while. Since..." he started.
    "Tech week," I supplied.
    "Yeah."

    That's it. I know it is not much... I don't want a crush, but I think I do have one. That is the second dream he has been in.
    This crush is slightly ridiculous. I haven't talked to him in ONE. WHOLE. YEAR. Tech week was at the end of April! I hardly know him anyway. I did not even HAVE a crush till March 22 (It's a memorable date!) AFTER quarantine. I've always thought romance is gross! HOW IN THE WORLD DID THIS HAPPEN?
    Yeah, so I guess this is just venting now.
    I think the things like, I'm too young. I'm only an (early) teenager. But I found out that most people have their first crushes in PRESCHOOL. Like, seriously? Yeah, seriously.

    This is all because of a dreaaaam. I suppose I AM over thinking it...

My first crush actually occurred when I was in 2nd grade. I thought this guy was cute and I thought it would be cool if he liked me. After a year liking this dude, my 8 year old self realized what a jerk he was. I guess what I’m trying to say is, yes, a lot of people have their first crush when they are really young.
Second, overthinking is always an option, but if you actually have a crush, i think you would know.
If I like someone, I always figure out how I talked around them, how I acted, and how I thought of them.
But if you think you are too young to have a crush... you are probably wrong. Lots of people I know who I believe are your age (from what you are describing), have dated someone or have had many crushes.
But... if you think you are too young to date... then it’s a different story. Determining when you want to date is up to you, and it’s different for everyone. Really, it’s all different to everyone.
