A Poem to Inspire.

1 Chapter - 204 Words - Developed by:

This ins't exactly a poem, but it isn't a speech either.I don't know what it is. P.s I wrote this because I really hate the modern stereotype of barbie doll women. This is to inspire you to be your own beautiful person.

Well, what are you waiting for?

    Be strong.
Don't let people tell you to be weak.
    Be intelligent.
Don't let people tell you to be a silly airhead.
    Be confident.
Don't let people tell you to look like a barbie.Look like you.

Be a strong, intelligent, confident, beautiful, woman.Don't let people tell you to how to live.Be a woman who is capable. One who can live her own life and be her own person.Be Strong.

I hate it when women with plastic surgery, like actresses, tell you that you need to love yourself. “I had to accept who I am!” No, you didn’t. Why did you change your face if you loved yourself? You can’t tell girls to love themselves if you don’t. I personally think my nose is too long and large, but I’m not planning on ever changing it because that’s the way I was made.

Yep. I don’t play sports, but I do play video games. :) I only wear dresses and skirts on Sunday, not that I don’t like them, I do, they just seem too “fancy” for everyday. I wear jeans all the time, but I do like fashion and everything. I’m kind of in the middle, I guess. I’ll go play super smash bros. and hold a slug, but then I’ll go shopping all day.
I have three little brothers, btw, so sometimes I feel like I act crazier and weirder than other girls who have sisters. Idk. I’m just in between.😁 It’s what makes me me. 🤪🙃

Well....maybe you're breaking another type of barrier.I don't do any sport except for swimming (and sleeping:)and I have no clue about video games so I ain't the classic stereotype of tom boys.Or anything really but...ok.I fail to see the purpose of everyone being put in a box.I for one can't stand it.So,really,it's nothing against girly ness, I'm proud to be female.Just an intelligent female.it just is about how women are stereotyped into being d.umb, and only having huge
b.reasts and skinny, curvy hips and flat bellys and hairless all over except for there heads where they MUST have thick glossy and and long eye lashes.Y'know? And also this was one of the first things I did so it isn't my best expressive work. But neither is this.I should go before people start thinking I'm talking about black holes

It seems to me like a lot of girls are on this site. Either the boys didn’t want to read it or the didn’t comment. Kinda weird....

Okay, so I am really a girly girl. I don’t mind pink (it’s not my favorite color) and I like wearing dresses and skirts. I’m just a girly kind of person. So when people say, “Be whoever you want to be!” and girls who do things like sports are considered to break barriers, where does that leave me? I feel left out because when I AM myself I don’t do those barrier-breaking things. Think about that for a while.😊

The modern stereotype of Barbie women tells me I’m too fat for the sweatpants I tried on the other day. Btw I have a normal BMI. No wonder girls want to be thin. Our clothes are marketed for it!
(this is a rant that I just wanted to get out there.)
