Another poem by me which could mean different things to different people. I feel that's it's quite... dark.

    The demons have surrounded me
    Appearing one by one
    Some come slowly but some quickly
    They want me to be done

    For what I have done in the past
    Is not forgivable
    They want to get revenge at last
    My lies aren't believable

    The demons are way closer now
    They're close enough to kill
    Let me be free - they won't allow
    I can't keep myself still

    One by one they come at me
    I scream and shout and yell
    Soon I give up reluctantly
    As I take the path to Hell

To me, the demons are my own emotional thoughts which threaten to destroy me from within.
The times I say I hate myself, those are demons.
However I’ve been trying to counteract those thoughts with ones like “I’m doing great today,” and “I love myself.”
I really hope someday I can defeat my demons once and for all and I hope you guys do too 💖💖💖

So... what does this poem mean to you? To me, the demons are my regrets and wrong doings from the past and they are trying to punish me. Basically, it's just my thoughts really. What does it mean to you though? It could mean the same but I'm curious...
