This is another poem... it's a little long. No hate, please.

I say all these silent goodbyes
And as the tears sting my eyes
    I realize
    That every one I meet
    Is one more silent goodbye

    Days, months, years
    Knowing you
    Six, seven, eight tears
    Sliding for you

    Three, three hundred, three thousand
    Months, years, decades
    By them
    One thousand and
    Three million days
    Ten trillion ways
    It could have gone

This is how we ended up
This is where we are now
    And this is how
    We ended up here
    And I hid every tear
    So you never knew

    A few close calls
    A few close moments
    But one thing stalls
This is where I am now

    I hid every tear
    I hid everywhere
    What I never was, was
    Thoroughly transparent
So this is where I am now

    And this is how
    I ended up where
    You don't see
    All of me
    None of you ever have
    I've never been great
    At being transparent
    Even through all the hate

    So this is why
    I am here
    This is the truth
    I was afraid
    This is why
    This is the truth
    And my
    Silent goodbye
