A poem.

    Lilting, light, soft footsteps
    Dancing across the floor
The hum of the ghost that sits
    In the

    Cello strings vibrate in tempo
To the sound of the her death
    She takes her

    Violin, singing joyously
In contrast to the desperate CPR
    Her father closes her eyes
    A blue sea

    Laughing delicately, piano keys
Played to a major that isn't right
    The funeral is over and
    Walk home

In the rain the flutes are blown
    The trumpets, the woodwinds
    The ghost looks up from
    Staring at
    Her body

The music plays, the ghost sighs
A breath of a spirit is enough to
    Blow away the tiny orchestra
The music box on the shelf stops playing
    The memory grows
