I've been struck with inspiration lately! This is kind of dark.

    1
I want no escape Drown me in my tears. I just want to choke And erase all my fears. Sounds kind of dark But it’s just who I am. They are overpowerin
    I want no escape
    Drown me in my tears.
    I just want to choke
    And erase all my fears.
    Sounds kind of dark
But it’s just who I am.
    They are overpowering
Don’t try to escape from them
    Avoid looking in their eyes
    They can steal your mind.
    They can melt your soul
And though you think that it’s fine.
    You’ll end up like me
    I'm a monster, no excuse.
    Drown me and choke me
    I can take the abuse.
    Run for your life
    Run for the light.
    Don’t end up like me.
Or you’ll drown and lose your fight.

Okay just to explain this poem a bit

“them” refers to mental illnesses. when you get too far into the hole of mental illness you can potentially become suicidal, right?

the person who is speaking this poem to you (the reader) is saying that they’ve fallen too far into this hole, and have become suicidal. they don’t want you to endure the same struggles, so they tell you to run/ fight and escape, because once “they/them (mental illness)” get to you, there is no going back.

I'm sorry if this wasn’t helpful, leave your questions in the comments if you are confused. thank you so much for reading and stay safe my loves❤️❤️❤️
