Last night I saw a vision

Of you and me together

I don't know if it will ever come true

But you...

Are all I want

Life will flaunt its unfair head

And echo what you said to me

My thoughts flow in a glowing torrent

Lava too intimidating to touch

It's heat and light too much

How can I save my heart?

When I was too open from the start

The pain is burning me away
