one of the questions was if you would clean your friend's room if it was messy but my sister told me that I shouldn't clean other people's houses because you're saying that they're messy and that's kind of rude but I mean if they said they wanted me to help them clean their room I would definitely 100% help them clean up

itā€™s jot my room. itā€™s my parents.
my mom works hard and is never motivated to clean, nor wants anything to do with organisation. she likes having things on display, which is fine...except we have the most random trash and items on ā€œdisplayā€ she keeps buying more and morešŸŒ»and doesnā€™t get rid of anything. itā€™s getting to the point where i donā€™t even want to leave my room because the mess is overwhelming. i would clean it myself, but she doesnā€™t let me because i actually put things away and she always says ā€œi canā€™t find my things when you ā€œā€organiseā€ā€
itā€™s so difficult to deal with! anybody who can get me a way to convince her to clean and organise is a SAINT! xx
(btw iā€™m only 13 so i donā€™t have any authority over her, her house, her rules. i canā€™t even suggest some storage cubes without her yelling at me)

Hi Brook my room is minty green/blue and I have a big white bed. Also there is a mountain of clothes on the floor as well as random scattered papers. So, 50/50 for me. I thought Iā€™d be messier but nevermind reading some of these comments!

I always keep my room clean...or at least try I ALWAYS have to pick my sisters mess and younger than her and she doesnā€™t know how to pick up after herself! I get so mad I always vacuum, pick her cloths up, wash our side table off, fold my laundry the second I put it on my bed to fold and put away, I always make my bed and yeah I hate having a messy room. Our room used to be so messy when we weā€™re younger my mom always had to pick it up but yeah.
