If you're self-conscious bout your weight because you weigh more than others: don't worry! You're taller than them :) If you're self-conscious because you think you look fat: You might have high body fat and little muscle. Make sure to get enough protein (yogurt, edamame, beans, turkey are all great) but don't like just eat eggs. Do bodyweight exercises like lunges and squats as well as dancing and running. If you're self-conscious because of something else, self-respect on what exactly you feel and why, and maybe talk to a the😍 if it's disrupting your life.

You're killing yourself. Your fat is going to choke your organs and make your limbs come off (Type II diabetes), die through heart attack or stroke or get hypertension (your heart struggles to pump blood). You need to lose 135 pounds, which should take around two years. Listen to your doctor.

You're barely under obese. You were using the adult BMI scale, kids like you should be around 15 to 21.5 BMI. Talk with your doctor. Eat vegetables, exercise an hour a day (dance, gymnastics, swimming, brisk walking, running) and limit dairy, meat and desserts

Hey Amber, it may not matter what your mother thinks. If you are mortally obese that listen to her advice but it is your body and you know yourself best. If she keeps on nagging you, ask her to take you to the doctor and get their advice or explain to her how you feel and ask her for 'some advice' even though you may not really want it.

I’m a 15 year old girl,weighs 53.5kg.height:161.5cm
wanna ask:how do I deal with my mother?she constantly nags with how ‘fat’ my legs are.
and yet,she’s like 50kg heavier than me.
she also pushes me to excercise but I’ve read articles and scientific journals that state that excercise only improves cardiac health and doesn’t aid in weight loss.
anyways,I’m just gonna go on a diet to lose 5kg for the sake of thigh gaps and flat tummy. :(

It sounds like you could loose a little bit of weight but you are definitely not obese. Just make more time for excirsize in your daily routine and continue to eat healthy. It also depends if you are far ahead on in the middle of puberty.

It said obese my family friends and doctors all tell me I am morbidly obese and need to lose weight or I could die young but I disagree I am 5 foot tall weigh 213 pounds (or 97 kilos) and I'm 11 I think I need to gain weight my goal is to get to 300 pounds and if I reach that I will probably go higher
