Karen, You are only partly right, guinea pigs at shelters have probably been through neglect or abuse but just because it might be hard to tame them down that is no reason to avoid shelters. I would suggest to get them from a breeder if you are a first timer because shelter guinea pigs can be hard to tame down. Again, the fact that a lot of the guinea pigs at shelters have been abused and neglected just adds to the reasons to get them from a shelter.

first guinea pigs should only have a bath if the are really dirty second A PET STORE BREADER ARE RIGHT. this is a ok quiz put some answer are wrong 🐹

Um, guinea pigs should not have a bath every month. It strips the natural oils from their skin.

Question 6 is incorrect. You should give a guinea pig a bath about 2 or 3 times a year, not every month. They keep themselves clean for the most part, and baths can disrupt their natural cycle and cause added stress.

I know so much about guinea pigs. This site says "meh" after I get 2 questions wrong? Ahem, I have 2 guinea pigs. And question 8 is incorrect. Please don't get your guinea pigs from a shelter. They could have possibly been abused or neglected.
