Good quiz. I got 16 out of 20. I enjoy studying the stars all right! I've liked gazing up at the night sky since I was a small boy in short trousers. However, it's only in the last few years that I've really become familiar with the various stars and constellation etc. My favourite star grouping is The Pleiades star cluster in Taurus the Bull. Although it shines at its best in November, I always like searching for it late at night around middle or late August. It's coming near that time again! I believe it can be seen around now before dawn. It's fairly near Aldebaran, the brightest star in Taurus the Bull. Orion The Hunter is another of my favourites. It come into view just before dawn around late July. The "belt stars" of Orion point in one direction to Aldebaran and in the other to Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. Anyway, I think I think I've said enough for now! Thanks for these quizzes; I like to test my knowledge.
