I feel you, I'm in a similar boat. I liked this dude for like a year and I heard some rumors he likes me from our mutual friends. I never dated before, and I don't wanna ask him out becuz I like being friends with him and hanging out with him. I don't wanna ruin my friendship with him in case we break up.

Advice: take whatever I say with a grain of salt. But if you guys both like eachother then you should talk about it. Maybe you could date. But if you're worried about your friendship I suggest talking it out. Communication>>>

so I have know my guy bestfriend since we were born because our moms are besties since their childhood. So flash forward 13 years we text joke around how im 3 days older and who is more mature basic stuff. he is like a brother or cousin. I tried getting him to say his crush. He wouldnt tell me but he told me his other one in a snap of a fingers. so i got suspicious do i said what letter is in their name he said A which is the 2nd letter of my name but he said it was the 2nd letter so i said another letter and he said M and he didnt say where in the name but knew it was me because idk anyone else with A and M except me. so i asked if it was me and he said yes. he and i go to this group together so we see eachother 3 days a week. He is super nice and kind he wants to teach me how to fish and he is outdoorsy and im not but idc. but he is tall lol idk what to think but he is blonde and i like blondes. but he is not himself at the group because i like him back and he knows so now he doesnt talk. i alway slap him (not hard) in the back of the head as a joke then mess his hair up for fun because it annoys him lol. but I want to say act like nothing happened and he might act normal but i dont want it to ruin our friendship. I dont know what to do because i like our friendship. also it makes it worse my best friend who thinks he is hot saw a blurry photo of him so now she likes him and she hasnt even met him because he goes to the other middle school. idk what to do any advise?

cont. I liked him. I sorta went into panic mode and nodded. I am still kicking myself for that. He said he did like me(he didn't.) Neither of us wanted to hurt the other, so we put ourselves through five long months of dating. Even though he is real shy, he is also very sweet. During those five months, he took me to my favorite places(McDonalds) dressed up nicely(tie, neat hair, clean glasses instead of the usual fingerprint covered ones lol) and brought me flowers. It was super cheesy, but also super sweet. Anyway, we were on a date and had just finished dinner and were walking it off as the sun set. He stopped and looked at me, and I did the same. My stomach flipped(and not in a good way) when I realized we were about to kiss. He leaned in, and so did I. We were very close(like our noses were touching) when he literally runs off. I didn't find out until the next week that he threw up at the thought of us kissing. We talked it out, and we are no longer dating. YAY!

So I have this guy bestie buuuuuut I’ve recently started really liking him. I'm really close with my guy friend, I've been friends with him for over 5 years. He told me that he had a crush on me when we were in 3rd grade, now we're in middle school.
