Think about the idea of dating both genders. Which would appeal to you more?

What does the idea of a sexual fantasy about someone of the same sex make you feel? Push beyond guilt/shame.

When you see a movie, which sex do you pay the most attention to (are most attracted to)? If you're not sure, see how many actors you can name from either gender. If it's easier to name one gender, that might mean something.

Think about pornography or erotic fiction. If you've never seen/read them, think about what you'd want to in the future.

Have you spent a lot of time pondering your sexuality?

Have you ever felt shame or guilt around your sexuality that feels unmatched by the environment you were raised in? (ie. not incredibly religious parents, but still feel a lot of shame)

If there's someone in your school or online or in TV/movies who's not straight, have you found yourself paying special interest to them?

Have you ever gotten intoxicated because you know it'd be more acceptable to kiss or be with someone of the same sex? If not, would you consider it?

Compulsory heterosexuality is when society tricks you into believing you're straight just because that's the norm. It manifests itself in only being attracted to the opposite sex when they're unavailable (ie. celebrities, people in relationships, people who wouldn't be attracted to your gender)
