Come up with a really wacky idea that's so crazy, it just might work.
You try the obvious and scale the boulders. When that doesn't work, you recall what you've learned to figure out how to get over.
Gather with friends and explore some of the nearby tunnels. Maybe there's more than one way out.
Step back from the others and work out a solution to get over on your own.

It's the night before a test, and you need to study. What do you do?

Go over your notes and use some tried-and-true study methods.
Camp in your bed and go over your notes, make flashcards, whatever works for you. As long as you're alone.
Gather in a group with your friends for some last-minute cramming.
Come up with your own study methods to remember everything. They're weird, but hey, they work.

You and some other students have entered Nimue's Forest on an assignment to find a few leaves from a specific tree. What do you do?

Study a map before you come, so you have a rough idea of where the tree is.
Play with Carrmin for a while before asking him where to find it. It's his forest, he knows best.
Gather some friends and explore off the beaten path to find it.
Stray from the group and walk the pathways on your own. You'll find it faster by yourself.

While exploring Nimue's Forest, you've happened upon a creature, and it doesn't look happy to see you! Looks like you're in for a fight. What's your method?

Fight solo. That way you don't have to worry as much about the people around you.
Fight as team. You'll be stronger together than you will be alone.
Recall what you know of this specific creature and use that knowledge when you attack.
Run right in with a good defense and a great offense. You'll work out a plan as you go along.

You're in Justus to replenish your potion supplies at the apothecary. Since you're in town, you...

Leave the group you came with and walk alone, looking for a shop to spend some money in.
Walk up and down the streets with your friends, and take a vote when you find a shop that seems interesting.
First, buy the supplies. Next, you refer to a map to find any shops you want to go to.
Aimlessly wander the back alleys, looking for a shop that interests you.

Your professor has set up an obstacle course in the Practice Fields, telling you that you can complete it any way you want, as long as you make it to the end. With that in mind, you:

Form a team with your friends and complete it together. Several heads are better than one!
Think back to everything you've been taught the last few weeks and use that as you go through the course.
Go on your own, but not before stepping back to make a plan first.
Face it head on; you can make a plan as you go.
