You have an accent that is halfway between British and American. Perhaps you've spent a lot of time in the United States and the U.K., have watched a lot of TV or many movies from there, or know many Americans and Brits.

Nice.

"You are quite British, just not completely. Perhaps you've spent a lot of time in the U.K, or have watched a lot of TV or many movies from there, or know many Brits." probably because we were a uk colony and are taught british english, with large american media influence

Haha, never been to America before but still I sound kinda like an American. I actually belong to a country which was a British colony 70 years hence. It's quite fascinating to see how globalization can, in fact, change the basic fundamentals of even an integral language.

Oi, oi! You really are a true Brit, with the way you speak! Perhaps you've spent a lot of time in the U.K, or have watched a lot of TV or many movies from there, or know many Brits.
No maybe it's the fact I am British and also calling it high school isn't just American. We do this walk around going
"Oh so are you in primary or secondary?"
Yeah we call primary, primary but we just call secondary high school. Just high school here is different to high school in America right?
Also oi oi is kinda steriotypical not every British person says that. I'm northern not southern!!
God why is everyone so fascinated by our accent? Seriously!!
