So this was it. I sigh slowly and deeply, as I gaze at the place that I once called home.
"So, are you excited?" Jamie asks. Jamie is my babysitter. She been with us for a couple years because apparently my parents don't have enough time for us
I scoff. "Excited? Yeah right. I'd rather have an elephant sit on me."
"Oh, come on. I know that you don't exactly love the idea of going to a new school, but it could be worse. I think that all you need is to have a positive outlook. You know, my favorite motivational speaker.."
I start to drown her out. Although I love Jamie with all of my heart, there's no use in complaining to her. She'll just tell you to have a positive outlook, talk about her favorite motivational speaker, and then give you some inspirational quotes. There isn't any satisfaction. And right now, all I really needed was to find a good place to cry.
