This poem is also about how something makes me feel.
But it's not like the last one!

    1
    Hey Mom Hey Dad
    How are you
    And I'm not bad
But if ya keep on asking
    And sayin' things about that
    And talking
    About that, you should know
I don't like it when ya talk about that
    But I don't tell you, I don't say no
When you say the dreaded, 'I'm impressed you could do (insert whatever I did)'
Though I hate when you talk about that to anyone!
But I still don't say no, I don't try to rid
    You of that talk
Still I hate it and you don't know, you probably'll never know
That when you start, in my mind the thing I do at the very suggestion is balk!
So in my mind I'll be begging you to stop
    But I'm not communicating clearly!
And trying to speak about it is a flop!
    I'll be pleading
    In my head
    But you're not hearing--nor reading--
My face, my thoughts, my head
    You don't see there
    Nor that brick of lead.

That's pretty much it, but only for certain things that I don't like being reminded of

I got this from your poem: you are embarrassed that your parents praise you, but can’t communicate that clearly.
