A poem I came up with...

    1

I want to be by myself
Sitting here in the dim light
And dim may as well be dark
    I want to be alone
Sitting here in the dim light
Which may as well be dark
    Don't open that door
Don't bring me back to before
    Don't make me implore you

    Walking up through the darkness
    Walls looking gray
    Don't stall
The only bad from the lack of illumination
    Exists in my imagination
Walking, standing, wading through the darkness
The only bad from lack of light
    Exists in my mind's sight
    I don't want to fight
Leave me alone in the darkness

    Sitting in the dark
    I'm not wandering
    I'm just sitting
    What could it hurt?
    Let me be by myself
    Wading through the darkness
    Walking through the darkness
    Standing in the darkness
    Sitting in the darkness

    The only bad here
    The place without illumination
    Comes from my imagination
    There's nothing to fear

    No I'm not hurt
    What could it hurt?
I don't feel like being alert
    Just wading through
    All I am doing is
    Sitting in the dark.

Wow Addy! Your a really good poet, you could make a book of all your poems and works and sell it! Your also a really good writer, I read the series you wrote Middle School, Something I Know Nothing About: and it was so good! I wish you wouldn't have ended it.😭💕
