A test to see if a name fits you, as a trans person searching for a name. This is for one name at a time, not multiple. If you have any suggestions, like changes to make, or questions to add, you can let me know through the comments, or there will be a question for that. This test can also be used for cis people looking to change their name, but I targeted it to trans people

There are ten questions, five possible answers each.

    On a scale of 1-5, one being the lowest, and five is the highest rating, how much do like this name? Not specifically for you, but just in general, as a name.

    Do you like being called this name? If you don't have anyone you feel comfortable testing this with, I've found that you can use Google Translate, type in a sentence like,

    "hey, (name)! Bob, this is (name), (name), this is Bob", and get it to talk. Or pronoun dressing room is also good.

    This one won't be worth as much points, but I find it does sometimes play a role in finding a name, so it'll be worth some. but what matters more is that it fits you.

    Would you be comfortable coming out, and changing you name to this? Or introducing yourself in public as this name, ect? (If no, it might not matter, and maybe you just have to get more used to it.)

    This might be a bit of a weird question, but, do you like the sound of it? Like if you sound out the name, do you like the different sounds in the name? The way each part and the whole part feels in the mouth when you say it, ect?

    Do you like the things that comes to mind when you think of this name? This can animals, people, or just general vibes. For me, because I have synesthesia, it includes colours. Do you think it applies well to you?

    Could you see yourself experiencing things with this name? Like a contest where they say your name, being called this by people, writing this name on homework or paperwork ect.
