Number four can have two answers. Dally got so over whelmed by the death of Johnny, he just couldn't take it anymore. So, he purposefully got himself shot down by the police

Actually it was a Dally that didn't match the description, he was supposed to have blond almost white hair and blue eyes but in the movie he has brown hair brown eyes also Soda was supposed to have brown hair that turned wheat gold in the summer not blond hair.
