New Orleans (affectionately known by locals and fans as N'awlins) has a cool vibe, great architecture, a rich history and killer victuals (in case you didn't know, that's food). But possibly the coolest thing to come out of this A-list city recently is The Originals.
A TV show? Wait - hear us out. Sure, New Orleans's architecture is cool - Greek revival, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Renaissance Colonial, and Gothic masterpieces dot the skyline. Dixieland jazz and Hurricane cocktails are fun to listen to and to drink. Muffulettas and beignets are to die for on your plate. (Our mouths are watering just thinking about them.)
But NOTHING could be cooler than vampires, werewolves and witches in an already very cool city. Are we right? Add to that, The Originals spin off The Vampire Diaries. Enough said.
