Just fyi, gravity is possible in space. Gravity extends infinitely out into space at the speed of light, so even if you're multiple lightyears away from a planet you'd still feel it's gravitational effects, because gravity is a property of mass bending spacetime and there's usually some mass around you. How do you think the earth stays in orbit around the sun if gravity didn't work "in space"?

wow, 10/10. wish it was worth anything to be so logical. hey chicken people, the egg came first. here's an easier question to help you see why: WHICH SITUATION IS MORE LIKELY: 1. Some egg laying creature, who routinely laid eggs of its own species, spontaneous lays an egg with a mutation in it. That mutation is the first chicken. OR, 2. Some chicken, typically reproducing by live birth, or mitosis, or seeds in soil, whichever method the first chickens did, SPONTANEOUSLY LAYS the first egg, and all other chickens are so impressed they follow the trend.
