Who are the top 10 best Harry Potter characters?

  • Place 10
    Nymphadora Tonks
    Nymphadora Tonks
Okay who didn't love the clumsy and childish witch when she first made an appearance in the Order of The Phoenix? Also she was a kind and caring Hufflepuff, a member of the Order of the Phoenix, a great wife and mother. She became an auror after she graduated Hogwarts, 2 years before Harry received his letter. I think I speak for most Harry Potter fans when I say that her death left most fans in or close to tears.
  • Place 9
    Remus Lupin
    Remus Lupin
Remus Lupin, undoubtedly the best Defence Against the Dark Arts professor in Harry's time. He may have been a werewolf but, his students learned more in one year than any other teacher could have taught. Lupin was an amazing friend, husband and father. His death was probably one of the most tragic for all Harry Potter fans.
  • Place 8
    Luna Lovegood
    Luna Lovegood
Luna may have been a bit naive and crazy, but without her Harry Potter just wouldn't be the same. She was kind and optimistic and she treasured her friendships dearly. Luna was one of those that brought back Dumbldores Army in the Deathly Hallows alongside Neville and Ginny, she quickly became a lot of fans favourite character.

  • Place 7
    Ronald Billius Weasley
    Ronald Billius Weasley
Ron was loyal to an extreme point especially for standing by Harry's side for at least 7 years (not including times where he left Harry like in the Goblet of Fire and the Deathly Hallows). He was a Hufflepuff in Gryffindor and felt like a sidekick to Harry, this lead to tons of jealously and resent. But even through tough times, Ron always came though.
  • Place 6
    Neville Longbottom
    Neville Longbottom
Neville had a lot of fans feel empathetic for him because he grew up without parents that knew who he was, seemingly couldn't do magic and was bullied by Malfoy and other Slytherins. One of his best moments was in the Deathly Hallows where he killed Nagini, the last of Voldemorts horcruxes so Harry was able to defeat him.
  • Place 5
    Weatherby AKA Percy Weasley
    Weatherby AKA Percy Weasley
This might come as a surprise but even though, yes Percy did leave his family for his career, and yes it took him 2 years to make up with them. And yes he was a bossy, prat that was crazily stearn and ambitious but he eventually came through in the end. And for some reason Percy always kind of reminded me of myself a bit, as I am sort of like Percy, but on a much lower level of coarse.

    Harry Potter
    Harry Potter
Well this is pretty self explanatory so I won't even bother explaining my reasoning here.
  • Place 3
    Cedric Diggory
    Cedric Diggory
Cedric was kind, fair, hardworking and quite a good student in Hufflepuff who cared about wining things fair and square. For example, in the quidditch match against Hufflepuff in Harry's third year, once Cedric realized that Harry had fallen off his broom, he offered a rematch to Oliver Wood, as he had already caught the snitch, but Oliver declined. He helped Harry with the egg for the Tri Wizard Tournament after Harry had helped him with the first task. And he would have lived a long and happy life had he not been ordered dead.
  • Place 2
    Hermione Granger
    Hermione Granger
Self explanatory again. But Hermione is this high on the list because she is almost exactly like me, (except I love quidditch on top of that) but still.
  • Place 1
And the number one character is... OLIVER WOOD!
And the number one character is... OLIVER WOOD!
Well Oliver got the top spot because he is literally my favourite character, and I always liked him because he is pretty much exactly like me. Also he may have been a hard captain, but no one can argue with the fact that he was probably one of the best. And after he graduated Hogwarts, he became keeper for my all time Favourite team Puddlemere United. And he was also quite funny in the fact where in book three, he literally tells Mcgonagall that he does not care if the Firebolt throws Harry off of it as long as he catches the snitch. Then he continues by saying "wow, the way she was yelling at me, you'd think I'd said something terrible" that had me laughing so hard I thought I might die of laughter. Though one thing is for certain, I will never forgive the producers for not putting that scene into the movie. Anyway he may have been strict, but he truly was an amazing character.
